Hatchery sexing, other than for sex linked or autosexing, is typically in the range of 90 to 95% accurate. That means in a box of 25 pullets, there's likely to be a cockerel or two. Even a box of 10 from TSC can hide one.

Hi, welcome to BYC. EE cockerels are usually bright and beautiful, like yours. The pullets tend to be pretty drab ... pretty, but drab, lol. That's how everyone knows you have a boy. Sorry and all that.
