Here is another pic, in this one looking a bit more like a cockerel.
When it looks like this, I think cockerel, but at other times its a lot more pale, which makes me think pullet.

I dunno, it seems like it changes, one moment looking like one, and the next moment looking like the other.

I had many marans girls that looked like her. cockerels have red wattles, period. how old are they?

I agree! You can clearly see its leg feathers & the cuckoo pattern of its feathers here .Its a Marans.
