Is this a barred rock rooster?

We've had backyard chickens for two years and are raising our second batch of chicks this spring (barred rocks that are now ten weeks old). It sounds like we have our first rooster. Somebody keeps trying to crow in the morning, but I can never see who it is. Here's my suspect: bigger, redder comb than the other chicks, much whiter coloration, and more skittish than the rest of the birds. Any opinions?

I live in the city and need to find a new home for the rooster before the neighbors get too annoyed. Is there a way to catch him crowing? My flock is so used to people that they all come running to see me and the kids whenever we go outside...

Thank you!

That bird couldn't be more male if he grew a moustache.

Thanks all! I guess "Spotty" will be moving to a new home :(

I have one just like him. I really, really, wanted a BR pullet for my flock but it looks like I ended up with a little boy also. Mine is 8 weeks and I have to keep him long enough to integrate him and my little Golden Sexlink in to the big flock. I hope the little sexlink is able to make friends with some of the older ones before I have to re-home the BR...I can't have a little roo crowing because my neighbor already hates my chickens enough even though it is totally legal for me to have hens. I hope you are able to find a home for your little guy.
