Is this a blood ring

We found this egg and have been monitoring it.. not sure the time. It started with a bunch of veins with a line around the edge, slowly that line has gotten smaller and moved to the bottom. There was a small dark spot previously, which has grown larger as seen in the picture. The smaller dot to the right appears to be moving like a heart beat? But not to sure. Does anyone know if this is a blood ring or not? Over time the ring has been there but things are changing and seem to be growing bigger and there is still veins

A blood ring happens when the embryo dies. That is not a blood ring

There is still veins though coming from the embryo (hard to tell in the picture) which is why I'm questioning it being dead. Also the much larger dark area was barely there a few days ago, so it keeps changing/growing

If you feel that the embryo is still changing and growing, leave it be. Is it being incubated with other eggs? How does the development compare to those? If this is your only egg, keep an eye on it for a few more days and that will tell you if it's alive.

I'd say if it hasn't changed in a couple of days, it would be safe to get rid of it.
