How old is the bird? It looks much older then just a few weeks. I am guessing you got started chicks not day olds.

I think she is to dark to be a male and I do not see the saddle feathers looking male.

Just saw the age post.

At that age that is a female. The comb is much to small to be as male and no male saddle feathers.

I was wrong, she should be 9 weeks old.

If that chick is 9 weeks then that comb screams boy.

That's a cockerel. What color is his skin (check legs) so we can determine breed? Looks like a BR.

That's a girl. Barred Rock. Wondered at first when I saw what looked to be just yellow legs, but then seeing the close up of the legs, she has a bit of slate going up them. Going to be pretty. I have one that should start laying for me next month.
