Is this a breed or a mutt/mix?

This came in a batch of Barred Rocks I got from craigslist. She looked like all the others as a chick, black with a white dot on her head but she was a bit larger (turns out older) now she is the smallest in the barred rock pen. Also the meanest and a total rebel.

I wish I could get a straight forward picture of her comb, never seen one like it. She doesn't cooperate with anything I do and I have to sneak up on her to get a picture.

If she was sold as a BR then she’s most likely half BR. The other half could be anything with a crest. See if you can get a hold of the people you got her from and see what other breeds they have or did have at the time you got them.

She looks to be a Cream Legbar mix. My guess is she is half barred rock, half CL.

I guess that would make her an easter egger, unless she was crossed with a Cuckoo Maran and then she is an olive egger... Guess I should just wait to see the egg color before I make guesses like that. I actually want to sell her, she looks really nice and someone else might enjoy her more than I would. Thats the only reason why I wanted to know if it was an actual breed. When I put the ad on craigslist I like to have my information straight. I could keep her to make black sex links which is what I am doing with the barred rocks anyways. She has the genetics to pull that off.

She is crossed with something toppy. I have no idea what that would be, but it could be a Marans, Easter Egger, or even a strain of Game.

Might be interesting to see whether she goes broody. "Mean" hens are often broody hens.

I am either going to keep her or give her to a friend that way I can find out if she went broody or if she had a strange egg color.

The guy I got her from collected eggs from people and incubated them in a cabinet style incubator and sold chicks. So the possibilities as to what she is are infinite. He had me pick out the barred rocks myself and i picked one of them wrong I guess, I just picked 8 black chicks with dots on their head. To be honest I was worried maybe he was selling me male black sex links because he has many solid black chicks. I ended up with 1 that died the first week, 6 females and 1 male, definitely not the black sex link trick and some really good luck.

She might be an olive egger too, I've seen CL crossed with BCM that look identical to her, and they were Olive Eggers.

See if she goes broody really quickly....Harley hens are known for that...

I tried taking pictures of her comb which is one I have never seen before. The flash made it too bright. its like she has 3 short single combs.
