Here's a new egg from the cochin that was mated with 2 days ago. It looks like a light halo around it and maybe the center white spot has started to divide? Same egg but different shots for better views.

yes.. those look fertile.

The first one I commented on looked more like a dot instead of having a distinct ring. The other pics I see a distinct ring.

okay, thanks! Maybe he didn't mate with my RIR! I saw him with with my Cochin though and that is where the fertile egg came from.
