Food dye (gel and regular kind used here) and ACV water mix. I go little heavier on the ACV for the brighter colors. Lots of bantam eggs.I've found that to be the opposite with mine.

That's the coloring we wanted to have.California whites are supposed to be a cross of California gray rooster over white leghorn hen. The California gray itself is white leghorn crossed with barred rock. So there should not be any color to them but white with black spots.
But maybe they're using a different cross for California whites now. I don't know. But I do know that those pictures here are not the original California whites.
