It looks like a barred rock (there are a lot of barred chicken breeds, but the barred rock is most commonly sold at feed stores, breeders and harcheries) if it is a barred rock the barring and feet say cockerel. Are you asking about the white one too?

If you only have 2 and one is a Cock-to-be (wait to be sure) you should get another Pullet so the other one is not lonely.

Generally you would look for comb and wattle size, brightness of the comb and wattle, saddle and hackle feathers, and for certain breeds they have sex specific traits which are much more obvious.

In barred birds like barred rock and Dominique the males have a lot more white in the barring. Your bird is getting a lot of white in those wings already.
