Is this a Cornish X?

Hey guys,
I’m making this thread for @cluckmecoop7 because her internet isn’t working. So, she bought 10 buff orpingtons online and picked them up last week. The hatchery sent a free bonus chick, and it was white instead of yellow like the others. Now she is suspicious it is a meat bird because it is bigger than the others and just kinda looks like one. Please confirm. Thanks!

Too young to know for sure but if it's truly already significantly bigger than Orpingtons I would suspect it. Leghorns and Cornish Xs are the most common feed store birds and Leghorns are pretty dainty compared to Orps...

Yup. I'm 99% sure that's a Cornish X. That thick chest, smallish wings and round butt are the cues I look for. Later, the legs and feet will look like tree trunks on top of life sized T-Rex feet.
