Call RK and find out which hatchery they order from. Any mixes coming from hatcheries are often Olive Eggers, or the like.

Marans, for informational purposes.. is ALWAYS said with the S at the end whether plural or singular after the French town they hail from.

They have been supper friendly and not skittish, and I would if you lived closer (since I got two). Really curious as to what they will lay.

Probably very pale brown.

Thanks for the information, I guess someone forgot to close the door to the barred rock pin or I got something on it way to becoming an Olive Eggers (do they breed true?)
