Here he is this morning. I probably won't be able to tell until he's a tiny bit older haha he's still peeping

That's a bummer! I won't mind if this guy is a drake. He has a female friend and some muscovies to hang out with

My Rouen duck got killed by an owl before I got their pen secure, leaving me with just a drake. I've got 7 other breeds, so nothing to worry about & 4 boys & 4 girls.

8 weeks "still peeping" means it's probably a drake. When they are young it just sounds like drakes never outgrew their baby peeps, but by this age girls are generally quacking, even if only on occasion.
