is this a dustbath??

    Is THIS a dustbath, or is there something wrong with them?? It looks crazy to me...

    Why do they do that? It just looks so strange to me.

  6. They do it because they love it. It also helps them get things (bugs) off their skin. Nice picts.

    Its cool and refreshing and will kill or get off any bugs that get on them.

    My chickens do this too and I was told they were taking a dust bath

    Mine do it the same way. Hey get all cuddled up a flop around. I noticed the groom each other a little too. I got some pics yesterday

    Textbook case.[​IMG]

    After 3 days of rain all my girls were glad the sun was out. Dust bath and sun naps all around. Looked like a day spa for chickens.
