It may be hard to see, hard to get a good shot, but is this egg fertilized? I am planning on trying to incubate some eggs in a month or so, but want to make sure the roo is doing his job!

I placed a ^ symbol below where I think the bullseye is. That indicates the egg is fertilized. Hope that helps.

yay!! I was hoping he was doing his job! He is young, so was unsure if he knew what he was doing.

I am hatching out some barnyard mutts, roo is a blue silkie and will be hatching eggs from a BLRW and tetra tint hens.

Awesome. Mine are mutts. I love them! Barnyard mixes are fun. If Forrest Gump was a chicken person he'd say, "Mixes are like a box of chocolates, you never know whatchya gonna get." It is fun not knowingin my opinion. Hatching mutts are the best!
