Thanks all! I'm waiting to hear it again but so far Tiny has kept quiet. At least as far as I've heard. I've got to try and record that when he does it again.

It's gotta be hilarious when it isn't traveling through half the house to get to me.

My roos have made the oddest range of sounds when they first start to cros. Some sound like the soprano section at the opera. Others sound like they are being throttled!

I've never had a roo before. I had to go to youtube, they sound ridiculously funny!

I'm sure it was! Their first attempts are so pitiful! Heres a good video of a first crow that sounds like what your describing

One of my roosters is named Ford, because he sounded like a model T horn when he started crowing.
