I have been wanting ducks for a while but i do not think i could care for two. My best friend is also in the same position and we live in the same neighborhood as eachother. We were thinking of buying a pair of ducklings and each taking one, and visiting eachother at least twice a week so they don’t get lonely. Especially with corona virus going around I think I will have a lot of extra time to bring the duck over for play dates and it won’t get lonely. But, I want to do what’s best for the duck so let me know

Also, really do your research and be completely prepared if you're going to get ducks. They take a lot of effort and attention, and you need to have proper safe housing in place, water for them to swim in, etc. It costs quite a bit to build proper housing and give them the food and medical care they might need. Just make sure you know what you're getting into before getting ducks as they can live a long time and be a big responsibility.
