We are in need of a larger coop for our 6 hens. While I know it's cheaper and better to build our own, at this point in time, my hubby and I do not have the ability to do so. Ideally we'd love a walk in one with extra space so the girls have room to move around indoors in winter if it's too cold outside, and we can keep food and water inside it as well. I found a place a few hours away that build sheds. They take orders, can customize some, and will come build/assemble it for us on our property. The smallest they do is 4x8, (which is bigger than we need, but we're ok with that) they charge 2090 base. Windows add $100 each, and delivery will cost another $200. I think in total we'd be looking at almost $2500 (shed + maybe 2 windows and delivery). We'd have to add our own roosting bars and nesting boxes, which isn't a big deal.

Does $2500 sound like a decent price for delivery, build, and the customizing? This is the website. Do the 'features' look like they'd be ok for chickens? https://www.backyardsheddesign.com/

Any input would be really appreciated.

Not sure where you are at but I got a 8x12’ shed with metal roof, one window and chicken coop package (an external opening nest box) delivered for $2k.

The company that built the shed is located in OH and delivered it to me already built and good to go in PA.

I will say, looking at sheds more local to me came closer to the price you are looking at. A 8x12’ built locally would have been closer to $3500-$4000 probably.

I guess my point is, shop around.
