There's a wonderful app you can download for your smart phone called the Merlin Bird ID produced by the Cornell Lab. It includes calls on the identification pages. I've used the app to identify many birds and was able to determine the types of hawks I've seen and heard in the area. Of course, I confirmed a Red Tailed Hawk. We tend to hear them and not see them here because they soar above the trees so far. We also have at least 1 pair of bald eagles, which was really exciting to me. It's a large app, but I've found it to be very valuable. Hope this helps!
