Is this a hen or "transgender " roo?

Hi everyone. This "hen" has been crowing lately. She doesn't have any spurs like a normal roo. Months ago there were eggs but not for at least 4. Thought it was because of cold temps. Now, she whines like a baby all the time and I caught her crowing. We always thought it was the polish "Tina". I have attached pictures of both birds (sorry quality isn't so great). We never hear Tina (polish) utter a sound except for an occasional squawk from being picked on.
Last summer I had to separate Tina from the others when my other Polish passed, and for about 2 weeks there were eggs. Not anymore.
The black one is an Astrolorp. The other also passed a week after the Polish did. Local feral cat attack, since then animal control caught it.

Does anyone know what we have?

So wait there are 2 hens in question or just 1?

If you know she was laying eggs she is a hen regardless of crowing. Some do learn to crow, but it does sound different then a normal rooster.

Of she has spurred laying eggs completely and begun crowing there is a possibility of hormone disorder that could be cuased by difdernt things you would need to have a very check her to confirm, for treatment if needed and make sure is not chronic or fatel

Thank you so much! I thought something was strange with her. I had a pretty bantam Seacrest that all of a sudden decided she was the Queen of the coop and started to get very aggressive to all the birds and us. When she drew blood on me, well. It was about 3 months or so after she was broody.
The other bird, the polish, is supposed to be a hen. Has laid eggs but does have spurs.
How do you really tell if or what is wrong? There aren't any vets in Las Vegas that know anything about chickens.
