is this a legbar pullet??

and last but not least these came from tsc and I am pretty sure they are white leghorn......the reason I don't think my very first pic is a leghorn is because these 2 seem to be pure white the "legbar" doesn't seem to be as white and around eyes seem a little darker then the leghorns

I used to raise legbars and hatched some of the "frost" white ones.
They did look exactly like your chick with the darker color on their heads.
Only chicks I've ever hatched that had that type of markings.
Time will tell. Watch for any hint of a crest coming in.

the thing I don't really understand is all of the chicks I received were told to be female and he had a couple that were straight run that I turned down but if the breeds aren't an auto sexing breed then is there a reason why to vent sex some and not others? are diff breeds harder then others? or is it just kind of educated guessing from other ways? just kinda curious on like what the probilitys are and why

Hi. I recently ordered cream legbar pullets from McMurray hatchery. I didn't get what I ordered, but I got some that look like yours. I'm certain they're NOT cream legbar pullets, but I'm not sure what they sent me. So I'm interested in anything that you find out. I hope they're frost white legbar... I'd be okay with that.
hey I was wondering how the "frost legbar" looks i think mine may be a boy now unfortunately but not positive yet i was wondering if maybe u could post a pic so we can compare this is mine it's about 9 or 10 weeks now
