is this a legbar pullet??

when do the saddle feathers start to get longer? I have 9 other chickens all aprox the same age varying breeds and all feathers seem to be the same.....only difference between this one and the rest is the comb and wattles are red which I know usually means rooster but don't legbar females sometimes have those too??

Mine all turned out to be cream legbar cockerels. 5 sexed pullets ordered, and 4/5 cockerels! All given to other homes now, but here's the last two boys at 7-8 weeks old, with their sister in the background.

Yeah, but not that much at 9-10 weeks. You have a very masculine boy.

Ordered from where? There should be no missexed birds with legbars, I would be taking this up with the source!

Gender differentiated saddle & hackle feathers generally emerge around 14+ weeks of age. Yes, pullets of production age (15+ weeks depending on breed) and mature hens have red combs and wattles, but not at this young age.
