Is this a meat or a blood spot?Please look!

When candling my eggs tonight, i noticed something in one and cracked it open.This is what was in it...can anyone tell me what it is?And will it continue to occur in the same hens eggs?

Meat spots. Just pick them out with a spoon (or your fingernails) if they gross you out.

is common in new layers....will most likely not continue with the same hen. I get them from time to time. I just pick them out with a spoon.

They are fine to eat, they just creep some people out.

They are fine to eat, but I have read that eggs with blood spots in them aren't kosher. I'm not Jewish, but if that is the case, you need to be careful.

I thought that it was a meat/blood spot, but thanks for assurance I don't have alien eggs!
