Is this a New Hampshire Red?

My bet is on a hatchery quality welsummer or partridge rock.

He looks like a Partridge Rock to me...I have a flock full of them. Btw, PR roos are really sweet.

I have seen hatchery birds shipped as new hampshires that feathered out like this. Not uncommon.

However, partridge rock is much closer. Definitely not a leghorn, though.

No it is a mix of a Rhode Island Red and something else. The chicken that i am holding is my New Hampshire red and shes my best hen she has lots of ribbons she purrs and sits when i tell here to.
