@cherrynberry, would you post a pic of a bird of any breed that has partridge markings, please? I think most of my EE are partridge marked but I don't really know for sure. Thanks.
These are the best photos I can find for now. I have 5 welsummers. They are red partridge I believe.

Welsummer are red duckwing
Thanks! In that case, I have GLWs. I believe they are partridge. Please correct me if I am wrong...again!

Both of mine are hatchery stock, one I just found out is double laced. So their lacings are not good.

Hi everyone, first post here on byc!

When we bought this silkie the seller told us she was partridge colored. After looking at other silkies online and studying her coloring she seems to be a non standard color, like a mix between buff and partridge. She looks really light colored to me. I'm just curious if her coloring is actually partridge. Thanks a bunch!
She looks like a mixed color (common in silkies if the breeder does not keep their birds in separate "color" pens). Many recessive white "hide" partridge and can be expressed when bred to other colors. This bird may very well have had a partridge parent, but agree some other colors are going on here.
She is pretty regardless.😊
I have an example of a mixed color silkie, that looked like a silver partridge as a chick, but as an adult looks very different.

In your top pic, the bird on the right looks like a Barnevelder to my ignorant eye ... 🤔 you say it is a GLW?

Great, thanks for the info. So if I wanted more partridge chicks, would she be an okay hen to breed ? Or could I potentially get all sorts of colors through her and a partridge roo?
