my peachicks are about 6 months old. I know one is a boy but the second I can’t tell. I see some barring on its back but I’ve been noticing it going away on his upper back. What do you think?

Thank you!! I’m amazed at how you knew she was a spalding! She is a Spalding (hybrid) hen.
The easiest examples that you can see on your pic are the triangular head, tight crest, the crest leans forward, her eyeliner flips up to the top of her head, and the green/blue feathers on the neck indicate Spalding. I would say she is better than low, maybe more towards mid-level Spalding. There are more indicators but views from the side and top would be necessary to see them.Thank you!! I’m amazed at how you knew she was a spalding!
Her face and crest give it away.Thank you!! I’m amazed at how you knew she was a spalding!
