Is there a problem if you have a rooster and hens together? We want to eat the eggs not have baby chicks?

x2As long as you pick up the eggs every day and don't let the hens sit on them, they will be just like regular eggs. They need to be kept at about 100 degrees for 24 hours in order to start developing into a chick.
x3If your just eating the eggs and no plans to raise little ones, you only need a hen. However having a rooster in with the hen has no bearing on eating the eggs. You can eat the eggs either way just a matter of preference.
