Is this a pullet?

I have another I am unsure about. This is from my bantam mix pen. Almost 4 months old. I am getting pullet vibes, but not 100% confident. What do you think?

Oh it's super cute! At 4 months, I would think pullet as well. I'm new though, so get other opinions, lol.

Coloring looks very similar to my EE cockerel, but his comb is much redder than yours. He was 13 weeks when the picture was taken.


I'm also not seeing wispy hackle feathers on your chick.

That's how I understand it too, but I'm still learning so I don't want to say anything definitive. The hackle feathers are hard for me to determine, but the saddle feathers look like they're starting to curve down a bit, which is also a male trait.

I thought this too, but then I learned that isn't always the case with Easter Eggers. Which I'm not sure that this one is since it's not mine, lol. But like you, I'm likely wrong, lol. I'm very new.
