ETA: so the answer may depend on which country you are hailing from or even breeding to.. However, despite being in the US I still breed Marans to the French SOP.

Araucanas are tufted (or tuftless) and would never have beard or muffs because the genes are unrelated. This bird has a beard and muffs indicating it's a crossbreed!![]()
Just researched a bit and it appears Danish Araucanas can have beard, muffs and tuffs, just beard and muffs, or just tufts! In that case it is an Araucana but it appears to be a cockerel so no eggs! He would likely carry the blue egg gene however!Thank you for your answer do you still Think it Will Lau blue eggs?
