Is this a red sex-link pullet?

We got this chick in a batch of mixed breed brown Eggers that came to our local feed and seed from Meyer. Supposed to be a pullet. Is it a red sex-link, which they call golden buff? And I’m concerned about whether it’s really a pullet, although I think Meyer says 100% correct sexing...it’s tail feathers are coming in curled up and it likes to stand tall. First photo is at 10 days, has red stripes on back and across shoulders. Second photo almost 5 weeks. Thanks for any input!

Thank you. Whew! We can’t have Roos within city limits. No idea why her tail is curly. I guess with a mixed breed, you never know what traits you’ll get. I think Meyer says the golden buff is RIR and white leghorn.

Thanks, good to know! So will they lose their current feathers again before getting adult plumage? Because I’m seeing a few black feathers in the pen, but neither the Marans nor the Australorp have any bald spots.

Yep! Their final plumage varies a fair amount with the plumage they have during the first few months!
