Is this a RIR cockerel? Also can anyone tell me what breed hens are?

I bought a RIR cockerel a few months ago, he should be about 5 months old now, but is not crowing (or layiing eggs) and I am now not sure if he is a he. He is very shiny and has shiny green tail feather coming out and even though he has been hand reared he can get a little testy with my son and attempts to "attack: his leg when we are feeding him. Can anyone help me out?
I also have2 hens that were given to me by a lady who could no longer keep them. I was told they are RIR, but they do not look like any RIR's that I have seen. The first might be just a Hatchery hen, I am use to see them darker, but the second is really light and has black feather around its neck and in tail. thanks for any help.

ETA: I think you have a female. It's hard to tell in the pictures you posted, but if it's a male, you would see pointy feathers pointing downward by the base of the tail.

You can kind of see them here in my 14 week old welsummer cockeral.

That is a roo, and the girls look like production reds (aka hatchery rhode island reds) Keep an eye on the roo- mine was fine for a year, and then started jumping on everyone's back. He never hurt anyone, but the kids were terrified of him.

Your RIR is a rooster. The 2 bottoms look like production reds or a red sex link mix of some sort. Do NOT let this rooster attack your son. It will get worse if you ignore the behaviour and he will be a rooster you cannot get near without being attacked. He may or may not stop but you need to get a handle on this asap. RIR's can be big and nasty if allowed.....

Thank you to everyone who responded. My 8 year old is in 4H and has entered him in the local fair as a rooster. He would be devastated if he had to withdraw. I use to raise chickens as a child also, but this one threw me. He just hasn't crowed yet, but I thought he was a roo. Thanks again. God Bless Sherry Dunn
