is this a roo or hen

these are both road island red chickens and i do not know if on is a roo or not can you help me there both about 5-6 months old

They both look like girls to me, the one is just closer to laying.

Pullets. At 5 months, if they were roos, you'd have huge combs on them and saddle feathers.
