Is this a roo?

I'm new to this. This is 1 of my first birds.

How old is this bird? In this photo it is looking very pullety - but that would depend on the age as there are certain characteristics that can indicate a very different gender depending on whether it's being seen at 8 weeks or 18 weeks.

This bird is 14 weeks. It Just looks different from my other birds

Are the other birds of the same breed and age? How is it appearing different? Perhaps some photos showing the bird next to a similarly aged flock-mate would help us to see the differences you are seeing.

I will try to get better pics. This bird and 1 other have what I would discribe as very rough looking feathers around the base of the tail feathers

So I take it the others are probably pullet then? as they look like the bird closest to the camera.
