Is this a roo?

Hello!! I bought this golden sex link at the local town and feed store. Figured it would be a chick since that's the idea in the name but I can't help but think it is a roo. I got 2 and it is growing much faster and I've noticed a wattle. Do hens have wattles?
They are 3 weeks old tmrw. Thanks to anyone that can help!!!

Golden comets are sex linked, so it is very likely to be a pullet. The cockerels are not normally sold, except as meat birds.

The feathering and size looks right on the bigger chick for 3 weeks. The smaller one looks like it's not developing as well. I'm guessing it's still a girl. I had two I pegged as boys based on down color and comb/wattle development.

It's funny you say that bc when I got them 2 weeks ago my husband noticed the smaller one looked weaker and her eyes were sunken. She also had blood on her comb and that's why I took her, in case the other chicks were going to keep hurting her. Maybe she is just underdeveloped like you say. The mystery continues haha, but thanks for your reply!

It's early and I don't know nothin' about this breed but my hunch says cockerel. Wattles that young are a major warning sign.

If it is , indeed, a golden sex link, coloring says that it is a cockerel. The other chick appears to be stunted, and yes pullets have combs and wattles.

Not quite right.

They are sex-linked, yes. But pullets are brown and males are silver. So the coloring would make this a male.
