Odd that a feed store would be selling golden comet cockerels, then. The whole point of them is that they are easily sexable as pullets. Unless they were marked as cockerels or meat birds, I would avoid that store in the future.

Also, since both are the same color, both would be cockerels if they are golden comets.

Update: looks like they are hens! Here they are at 6 weeks....
