I really need help determining if my feather baby is a rooster or hen. Age- 2 months, Breed- Blue laced red wyandotte. S/he has been crowing since a few weeks. I have done my research but am very confused. I read some place that hens crow too if they are the leader of the group which my pet is. There is just one other hen which is a polish hen. Also, I have seen some pictures of the wyndotte hens and they do have the wattles.
I am so hoping that this is not a rooster as my City doesn't allow roosters and the two hens have grown so close to each other. I can't think of separating them :( Please help.

Yes, hens will develope wattle and comb once they get closer to laying. At 8 weeks yours is no where near laying. Plus, it's a boy so he wont ever be laying. Heres some of my 2 month old hens. You can see they still has a very small and pale comb and no wattles.
