Is this a Rooster or Hen?

Thank you. Do I just wait to see if it happens to crow? It looks young to me. Once I caught it, it was very chill. It did start to wiggle and let out a crow, so that has me worried. We can't have rosters here.
I'd suggest waiting and seeing. You could post about a lost chicken around town. She could have escaped from someone that you don't know. Looks to clean to have been lost long. Did you clean her up??

It looks like a Brahma and that means it’s probably young because Brahma usually are bigger unless it’s a bantam. I wanna say cockerel because of the way he looks, but since you don’t know the age I would wait to see if it crows or lays a egg.

She's been in my neighbors yard for 2 days. I'm surprised she didn't get eaten honestly.

I posted her photo in our FB group for our neighborhood. I don't mind keeping it if it's a been, I just can't have a roster here. We're wondering if someone just dumped it after finding out it was a rooster.

That would make sense. It looks like it is just growing in the male feathering which means he probably just started crowing. Somebody most likely did dump him.

Crowing can happen at any age. My sister has had 1 month old chicks try to crow and others not until they were a few months old.
I'm leaning toward rooster with the saddle feathers, the coloring, and the crow but I am by no means an expert with Brahmas.
