Is this a rooster?

Hello, this is bird is roughly 12 weeks old. I am pretty certain he is a rooster but my husband is desperate for it to be a pullet. He/she has not crowed and the comb is pretty flat, but the black feathers on the tail and neck have a hint of green to them! Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

Definitely a cockerel.

I think you have a cockerel. The reason the comb is flat is because the variety is a rosecomb.

Notice the sickle feathers starting to develop? You have a cockerel.

Yup!! Add one more vote for cockerel. Saddle feathers and hackle feathers definitely look cockerel.
