I thought she had just begun sitting on them, but I went out to check today and the chicks are hatching!!!!
I think it may be too late to move them. I will have to wait until the rest of them hatch right?
What should I do?

I will send pictures soon.
I cant wait to see them myself, but she is not budging an inch, but I can hear them peeping and see broken shells around her.

See those 3 tiny little babies beside her? So cute, they look like they will be dominique too. I wonder if they will have the crazy tail feathers like their mamma.

i am still not convinced that is the same chicken as the first picture, that first one is a roo. convince us and show a picture of this hen when she is off with her babies so we can see the tail again. Please

these are my hens and it looks like a hen to me...

the one on the far left is a roo though the rest are hens

its a hen no questins about it...comb and waddles are way to small at her age to be a roo

Last count... 6 chicks! Oh my gosh I didnt expect that. She still has 4 eggs she is sitting on. The chicks keep hiding in all the leaves, its hard to find them. I guess I will move them tonight after it gets dark and put them in the coop where its safe. All the chicks look exactly the same they must all be her eggs except for the white egg that hasn't hatched yet.

One of the chicks looks a little beat up, has some bald red spots and one eye wont open. Could I do something about that?
