Is this a rooster ?

    New chicken. It's a barnyard mix. I believe it might be mixed with barred rock. There isn't a comb or wattle but it looks to possibly be growing hackle feathers? It use to be at the bottom of the pecking order but as it's getting bigger, seems to want to fight / flare up with everyone. Although it's all for show. [​IMG]
     
  2. Rooster. He's getting his hackle and saddle feathers in, and his head looks very "roosterlike" to me.

    Cockerel. Those white patches on his shoulders will likely get larger as he matures.

    So I killed the rooster.. But didn't find any testicles. Maybe I dunno where to look. Can someone help identify which ones are the testicles?

    My guess might be these two things attached to the intestine..but I'm not sure.
