is this a rooster?

Can you tell if this is a rooster? I think its like 5 weeks old, its comb has kinda gotten bigger the last couple of days and none of my other birds of different breeds all around the same age some a little older some a little younger have combs grow also his tail features kind of curve as apposes to the others who have straight tail feathers

I think its 5 weeks old it was given to me 2 weeks ago so I'm just guessing. It is the only one of the 9 I have that I think is a cockerel and I always wanted at least one rooster this is the only bird that's black

Yup, definantly cockerel. I had one that age, he was a Plymoth Rock, and he looked exactly like that, well, except for the color.
