Is this a silkie egg?

My 29 week old silkie...I now think is a pullet.....I found this egg in the nest boxes...

is this the average size for one, and do they lay white eggs?

They do lay white eggs. I dont know what the average size is but I'm guessing rather small, though the first ones are normally smaller than what they'll lay after a few weeks.

anybody else help me out, is this a silkie egg?
Here is a shot of my only other chicken that lays white eggs: A California White, her egg is on the left, the 'silkie' egg is on the right...
