Is this a Silkie?

I’d say you might be able to guess around 6 months old by seeing where it matches the standard for sultan. If it doesn’t match I guess mix. Here is some information on sultans as far as comb type and such. https://livestockconservancy.org/index.php/heritage/internal/sultan

Mixed breed chick. Not a silkie or a sultan. Silkies are well, silkied and have black skin and legs. Sultans have V-combs and white skin and legs.

I thank everyone for there input . Based on the information gathered, I have concluded that it may turn out to be a Sultan. When I enlarge the photo at the start of this thread, I can see a valley at the base of the comb, its on the hard part of the beak. Where as that part of the Bresse chick is smooth with out an indentation like a V. The other evidence is its straight feathers and there seems to be feathers growing on top of its head in the new photo:

You could be right, he was kind of dark when he just hatched. If his beak was black I would be certain, but its yellow, so I am leaning towards Sultan. Also, there is a V indentation at the base of the comb.

I ordered 6 Bresse eggs on ebay and got 6 free assorted extras for processing delay. I can't figure out what this one is? It has feather on its leg and its tail look fluffy......and it has 5 toes and it was half the size of the rest.

Sultan mix. He can't be pure sultan because he doesn't have a large crest, vulture hocks, and beard and muffs.
