Is this a silkie?

My Avatar is the daughter of my single combed boy. She is then carrying the gene for the single comb, but has a normal silkie comb herself.

Thank you so much for all of your help! And she’s so beautiful! I am breeding more so for fun, all the ones I’ve breed so far have been mixes such as my one rooster who was supposed to lay olive eggs but switched up on me.

I don’t have much experience with Silkies at all, but the comb looks like the pea comb on my Ameraucanas, Brahma, & Easter Eggers.
Here’s a random young cockerel ameraucana, I believe, for comparison next to yours. With pea combs the females have a larger row in the middle and the two side rows don’t really even show up (in my five hens anyway), and the males have three rows you can easily see even at a young age.

So if your Silkie has a pea comb (which I’ve never heard of, but I don’t know much about it!), then I’d guess boy based on the comb.

Hello! I bought some chicks a while back that were labeled “assorted cochin bantam”, but from the pictures my girl seems to be a lot fluffier than the rest. Here is her today, is she a silkie or silkie mix? She also has the blue on the side of her face which I read was a silkie thing. Her name is beetle/bug and she is 2 months and 5 days old

definitely a silkie, and she’s a cutie too!
