I am looking for a cold hardy, non flighty, above average white egg laying breed. Does one exist?

A cochin might work. They're pretty, lay cream-colored eggs, and are calm birds.

Rose comb brown Leghorns come to mind. Not entirely sure they fit the non-flighty part. It will depend on the individual birds. Ours don't like to be picked up but they are far from flighty. They'll follow you around and talk to you.
