is this a turkey egg?

    i found this egg in the bushes on the hill where the turkeys live today and i was wondering if it is a turkey egg, if it is it is either a narrangasset egg or a bourbon red egg, if that helps. here are a few pics of it next to a BO egg for comparison

    The middle one is a turkey egg. Many turkeys are a light brown with dark brown specks.

    ya i was expecting them to be biggger though, but i wonder if i should collect a few more and incubate hmmmmm.. [​IMG]

    Looks like the ones I used to get. Very pointy and spotted.

    That's a turkey egg alright. If they have just started laying, give them time and they will get a little bigger.

    yeah as far as i know it is the first egg, it was in a dirt nest and it was raining, not sure how long it had been there for, but i am hoping to get more and maybe by then ill have another broody,if not, then ill be forced to incubate [​IMG]

    Hahahaha forced to incubate, thats like saying I am forced to think about birds all the time, lol.

    i am forced to be at the ranch so much i notice a turkey egg burried in the bushes
