Possums in the daytime? Not around here.
That said, don't know what it is with that small sample.

I always thought coons and possums were nocternal too, but I ride my bike to work every morning from 6:20am -6:50am and I 've seen them both, coyotes too maybe till the sun is all the way up they still consider it "night" if they didn't get into anyone elses coop yet!....
I do believe that cam picture is a shadow and fence joints upon closer look though

Ahhhh! It could be. We just caught one in the trap last week. It went to opossum heaven.

Opposums used to be raised as a food source at Lumber camps in the Northern Lower Michigan, Upper Peninsula, and Canada. They're good stewin' animals. I can't imagine having an opposum coop in the backyard. I might actually consider it if most of the little critters didn't carry typhus.

If Granny Clampett thought it was good enough for Jed and Jethro, serve me up a bowl. NOT.

As an avid hunter and have eaten what I have harvested as well as sampled some more exotic stuff, think I am gonna pass on the possum stew. Thanks anyway.
