Is this actually a Sapphire Gem?

Last Spring, I bought two Sapphire Gems, one was the traditional Grey/Blue and then one was darker, like charcoal.
I attached pictures of both for reference.
Is the darker chicken a Sapphire Gem too? If so why is she darker?
If not, what could she possibly be?

I think they are probably both Sapphire Gems. They are a hatchery hybrid, so they may not all look exactly the same.
I agree. Blue can vary in shade quite a bit and it looks like one is showing better lacing then the other.
SGs have been around long enough now that the hatcheries have changed up what birds they use in the cross which can lead to differences in appearance.

Thank you, I appreciate your response! Would you have any idea what she could've been crossed with to get her lacing?
