Is this a recognized color for a true Ameracauna?

Nope... it doesn't match any of the standards for feather pattern/color that I know of.. Quoted fro the Ameraucana Alliance website...

AMERAUCANA VARIETIES (Large Fowl & Bantam)

Black, Blue, Blue Wheaten, Brown Red, Buff, Silver, Wheaten & White

Silver is the same as partridge in other breeds. Brown red is the same as black copper.

What you are sporting there is a very typical pattern on Easter Eggers. I think it's similar to wild type partridge... but definitely not an accepted variety of Ameraucana.

I have an Easter Egger that looks VERY similar. She is one of only two out of hundreds of birds to receive pet status here! :love
