I know these aren't the greatest shots, I did what I could.

The darker colored one in the back is the one I'm curious about because she doesn't look like the 3 other Ameraucanas (only one other is in that picture)

This shows off her darker coloring more

Slightly better side view.

So, what do you all think? Or am I such newbie at this and Ameraucana have different wildly different patterns?

She's an Easter Egger. Also can be found by the name Americauna. They're the same thing. Hatcheries will call Easter Eggers Americaunas instead to make you think you're getting the real and true breed, the Ameraucana. Easter Eggers/Americaunas aren't a true breed, so therefore they can really look like anything. Ameraucanas are a pure breed, and much harder to come by. They also come in specific colors.

I believe what you have are Easter Eggers, not true Ameraucanas.

Easter Eggers are mixes and come in a variety of colors. Some have beards and muffs, some don't. They may lay any color but typically are bred to lay blue or green. I love Easter Eggers!

Hey, the funny thing was, I *WANTED* Easter Eggers but these were on sale for $1 each so I'm not upset at all over this. I'm loving my little flock!
I have some Easter Eggers myself and they're such pretty little girls, and give me pretty little blue eggs too!

I see its spelled Americana in that article, not Americauna. So I suppose its spelled that way instead?
I honestly have no clue lol! I'm assuming that it's spelled Ameraucana because that's the most common spelling I see probably ☺️ I never know if the "au" comes after the C or before the C though😅
