Wondering what breed this may be and what sex? I purchased this little one at my local TSC and it was supposedly Ameracauna
I would like to get more information as I’ve heard that tsc dislabels most chick breeds. My husband said it looks like it will be a rooster?

It looks like a darling Easter Egger.
WAY too early to determine gender.

I have two ameracaunas and one of them looked identical to yours as a baby! I would definitely say that is an ameracauna. You can’t exactly tell if they are a boy or girl at that age so I wouldn’t worry about that now. My ameracauna with those colorings is our prettiest in the flock so your in luck!

Some say you can determine a rooster by the thickness of their legs. I don’t mind having another rooster but I’d rather much have more layers then anything. I’ve been researching and cannot find anything. Thank you for your feedback

You can't determine sex by the thickness of the legs solely and not at this age. I can tell you that my three EEs all had thicker legs than my sexed male true Ameraucana had when they were the age your chick is. And all my EEs are 100% pullets.

I really hope he or she is an Ameraucana. I’ve heard wonderful things about them and how docile they can be. I have a rooster and he turned out to be very protective over my hens. He chases my dog for no reason and she is trained as a 10month old pup to stay away and be very gentle with the chickens. My rooster “Joey” shows signs of “Sneaky” a true troublemaker.

What a beautiful rooster! Good luck with the chicks!
